Madison’s finest independently owned restaurants will unite to fund and support Madison College Culinary Arts Scholarships at the Madison Originals event Flavors of Madison on Sunday, May 4th from 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. hosted in the grand ballroom of The Madison Concourse, a locally owned landmark hotel.

Taste local fare from over twenty members of Madison Originals Restaurant association, who are committed to sustaining the Madison area dining scene. Meet and mingle with the owners and chefs of Madison Originals restaurants and associate members including New Glarus Brewing Company, Wollersheim Winery, Yahara Bay Distillery, and Fisher King Winery. Culinary Arts students from Madison College will also be featured at Flavors of Madison, where you can sample a delicious variety of dishes served by over twenty restaurants. “Flavors is an exciting community event for anyone is Madison,” states Ed Shinnick owner and Chef of Madison’s iconic Porta Bella and Paisan’s Restaurant. Ed has participated in Flavors every year and volunteers his time on the Madison Originals events committee “if you enjoy great local food, get your tickets soon, past Flavors of Madison events have sold out. We are proud to showcase local restaurants and fund Culinary Scholarships to support students enrolled in the Madison College culinary program which supports the industry in Madison”.

Flavors of Madison will donate 100% of the silent auction and a portion of ticket proceeds to fund Madison College Culinary Scholarships. Ticket holders have the opportunity to support the scholarships by bidding on delicious silent auction packages including private cooking class for 10 people at Liliana’s Restaurant, a five course tasting for two at member L'Etoile, wine and cheese tasting for eight at Quivey's Grove, wine dinner for eight at Porta Bella, and many more. Madison Originals President Dave Heide, owner and Chef of Liliana’s Restaurant states “I’m honored to be part of an organization which supports the community, funds the scholarships, and I love that tickets include a $10 gift certificate to be used at our participating restaurants

Tickets are limited. Indulge and feast at at over twenty restaurants at one unforgettable event with the many wonderful and diverse “Flavors of Madison”. Guests will also enjoy live Bluegrass entertainment by the Briarpickers in the ballroom. There will be door prizes all night including merchandise and gift certificates.
